Mission

To Advance Skin Cancer Treatment

Purpose

At the time of the Association inception, there was no medical society focused on radiation therapy and other non-surgical options for skin cancer treatment. Certain medical societies advocated for surgical procedures and others concentrated on high-dose radiation treatments often found in the hospital setting.

The Dermatology Association of Radiation Therapy (DART) is committed to analyzing and educating on therapies that are most beneficial to patients, that are offered in the office, and that are delivered by the experts—dermatologists.
